1. Press Tofu: Place tofu on a paper towel-lined cutting board and cover with paper towels. Place a heavy saucepan or skillet on top of tofu, and place several cans or other heavy objects inside. Let stand 10 minutes to release excess moisture.

2. Make Sauce: While tofu stands, stir together sriracha, tamari, sesame seeds, honey, vinegar and garlic in a small bowl.

3. Slice Tofu: Cut the short side of the tofu into 6 thin, even slices.

4. Sear Tofu: Heat sesame oil and 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Brown tofu 2 to 3 minutes on each side. Carefully remove from skillet to 2 se

5. Finish Dish: Add broccoli and red bell pepper to drippings in skillet. Cover and cook 3 minutes or until almost tender. Add sauce. Cook 2 minutes or until sauce becomes syrupy.

To Serve: Spoon vegetable mixture over tofu slices.

Don’t skip the step of pressing the tofu. It makes it easier to work with and removes the excess liquid so the tofu can soak up the flavorful sauce.
