What To Do:

1. Steak may arrive slightly frozen. Thaw as needed.

2. Marinate Steak: Stir together vinegar, tamari, honey, ONLY ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper and garlic in a medium bowl. Add steak to marinade and turn to coat.

3. Prep Brussels Sprouts: Thinly slice Brussels sprouts.

4. Cook Steak: Heat 1 tablespoon oilin a large skillet. Remove steak from marinade, reserving marinade. Sprinkle steak with ¼ teaspoon salt. Cook steak in hot oil 3 to 4 minutes on each side or to desired doneness. Remove steak from skillet to a cutting board and let rest while cooking Brussels sprouts.

5. Cook Brussels Sprouts: Wipe out any black bits from the skillet. Add 1 tablespoon oil to skillet. Cook onion in hot oil 3 minutes or until almost tender. Add Brussels sprouts. Cook 5 minutes or until Brussels sprouts and onion are tender. Add steak marinade. Cook 2 minutes or until liquid almost evaporates.

To Serve: Thinly slice steak. Divide Brussels sprouts evenly between two bowls and top with sliced steak. Drizzle with any remaining pan juices.

Pro Tip:

If you aren’t short on time, marinate the steak longer for 30 minutes to 2 hours.

Spice it Up!: Add more kick by using the entire package of crushed red pepper.
