Wine Pairings by @grapefriend

Don’t be turned off by slightly sweet wines – they’re fantastic with spice! Try a Chenin Blanc from Vouvray with these shrimp.

Beer Pairings

Go for a Lager here. It’s light and crisp and won’t overpower the sweet chile sauce or flavors in the slaw.

5. Char Tortillas: Heat tortillas by placing directly over a gas burner or under a broiler until blackened in places on both sides. PLEASE don’t skip this step, you’ll be missing out on big flavor.

To Serve: Divide shrimp and pan sauce evenly between the tortillas. Top with slaw, remaining cilantro and avocado slices. Serve with lime wedges.

Pro Tip:

Make the slaw up to 2 hours ahead of time.

Spice it Up!: Serve with your favorite hot sauce for another layer of flavor.
