TK Table Talk:

If your childhood had a smell, what would it be?

What To Do:

1. Ground beef may arrive slightly frozen. Thaw as needed.

Korean Beef Tacos - Step 1

2. Make Sauce: Combine garlic, brown sugar, tamari sauce, 1 tablespoon water, 1 tablespoon canola oil, sesame oil, ONLY ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper and ONLY 1 tablespoon lime juice in a medium bowl.

Korean Beef Tacos - Step 2

3. Cook Ground Beef: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ginger and ground beef. Cook 5 minutes or until done. Stir in sauce. Remove from heat and let stand 10 minutes.

Korean Beef Tacos - Step 3

4. Char Tortillas: Heat tortillas by placing directly over a gas burner or under a broiler until blackened in places on both sides. PLEASE don’t skip this step, you’ll be missing out on big flavor.

To Serve: Divide beef mixture evenly between tortillas. Top with scallions and sesame seeds.

Pro Tip:

You can also grill the tortillas instead of charring them over a gas burner.

Spice it Up!: Increase the amount of crushed red pepper if you like your tacos super spicy.

Sure, our TK food containers are recyclable, but we’d rather you upcycle them first. We’re partial to using them to sprout our garden seeds, but we’d love to see how creative you are! Tag us in your photos with @terraskitchen and #TerrasKitchen.
