Wine Pairings by @grapefriend

Rioja, which is made mostly from Tempranillo grapes, has notes of hearty, earthy black plum and tobacco that are great with spicy fajita flavors.

Beer Pairings

Go for the obvious choice: a malty Mexican beer.

TK Table Talk:

What’s your favorite cheesy pick up line?

What To Do:

1. Beyond Burgers® may arrive slightly frozen. Thaw as needed.

Beyond Fajita Burgers - Step 1

2. Cook Fajita Vegetables: Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add fajita vegetables, ½ teaspoon salt and ONLY 1 teaspoon cumin. Sauté just until wilted and slightly browned (about 7 minutes).

Beyond Fajita Burgers - Step 2

3. Cook Patties: Push fajita vegetables to one side of the pan. Add 1 tablespoon oil and burgers. Cook 3 minutes on each side.

Beyond Fajita Burgers - Step 3

4. Dice Avocado: Cut avocado in half and remove the pit. Using a paring knife, cross-hatch the flesh and scoop out with a spoon.

To Serve: Place one patty on each plate. Top each with chipotle salsa, fajita vegetables, cilantro and diced avocado.

Pro Tip:

Make it a burger with a soft, sweet bun.

Spice it Up!: Finish the dish with a squeeze of lime for a citrus zing and a sprinkle of cotija cheese for a salty end.

Sure, our TK food containers are recyclable, but we’d rather you upcycle them first. We’re partial to using them to sprout our garden seeds, but we’d love to see how creative you are! Tag us in your photos with @terraskitchen and #terraskitchen.
